The surreal and cityscapes have consistently inspired my work.  First in oil paint, the urban landscape captured my attention. The architecture and movement of the buildings made for a good composition. In 2004, I switched to acrylics and it has been such a fun transition.

 

Some of my innermost emotions are revealed in the more symbolic works.  I like to explore those areas between more technical projects. I am lucky to have some creative inspirers around me.  Their visions and ideas have been represented in my art.

 

Color dominates. The best part of painting for me is mixing colors. Recently, collage and mixed media have become a big part of my work.  I like using all kinds of cardboard and cards from family and friends as a component for these works.
